Long Overdue!!

We have been back from Disney world for almost two months now and i have yet to post anything! Just so i have time to catch up here are a few pics from vacation! We had an awesome time and Chloe did fantastic! She loved flying in the plane and was amazing at Disney World considering we started the day at 10 A.M. for character dining and stayed at the park through the fireworks! I wish i could write every detail about the trip but the one thing that sticks out in my mind the mosts is Chloes love for swimming! Bobby and I took Chloe swimming everyday, rain or shine (minus the day at Disney). She became so confident in the water she was swimming with only her arm floaties! I am planning on taking swim lessons with her this winter and hope to have her in the pool at lot at my dads next summer!

Pumpkins Patch!

Bobby and I took Chloe to the Pumpkin Patch yesterday! The weather was ideal compared to when we took her last year....it was in the upper 80's--not my idea of pumpkin patch weather! She love the hayride this year and making all the noises the animals made. She picked out her own pumpkin at the end of the corn maze and was very well behaved! To top it off Notre Dame won--as you can tell Chloe was cheering them on!

Play "Date"

Brennan was sweet enough to go in for the first kiss! They fed each other blueberries and strawberries!
He gave her drinks of her milk!
They had long talks on her bed!
They colored pictures together!

Chloe has a play "date" with her friend Brennan last Tuesday. Brennan is the son of my friend Michelle who i used to work with at McDonald Physical Therapy. Chloe and Brennan are 7 weeks apart but Brennan has always had a huge height and weight advantage over Chloe. Here are a few pictures i took during their day which i must add ended with a long nap! They were both worn out but had sooo much fun together!!

We're going to Disney World!!!!

It's official, we are taking our first family vacation! We booked our plane tickets last night to leave for 9 days and nights in Orlando, FL! We will leave on October 17, the day after our Anniversary, which is also our present to each other! I'm excited to start watching all the princess movies with Chloe and getting her excited, too! This is going to be a much needed vacation for all of us!!

Bayer Company picnic

On Saturday my dads work had their annual company picnic at the Bayer in Mishawaka. It was our first year going and we really didn't know what to expect. Much to our surprise we had a blast! There were about 5 bounce houses including a large slide Chloe and i went down several times. Our group included my dad, step-mom, my sister Laurie, my niece and nephew Gracie and Max, and of course Chloe and I. We started with lunch which was filled with lots of snowcones, cotton candy, and cookies--Max had his full share of sugar! It was also Chloes first time going in a bounce house by herself! I couldn't believe how well she kept her balance!

Big Girl Bed!!

There have been two nights that i can recall since Chloe was born that she has slept the WHOLE night in her own bed! This is starting to takes it toll on Bobby and I. I blame myself for falling asleep in our bed while i was nursing Chloe as a baby. Now that she know just how comfortable our bed is she doesn't want to be anywhere else! (Not to mention she is sleeping with her two favorite people:)) We decided to go ahead and get her a big girl bed keeping our fingers crossed that it would be the answer to our prayers of Chloe sleeping on her own!! So far, so good....two nights down, i'll update more later!!

4th of July!!

I love the fact that 4th of July was on a Friday this year!! It was an extra long weekend and it couldn't have come at a better time! We celebrated the 4th by going to a Parade in my sisters neighborhood, along with cousins Gracie and Max! After the parade there were donuts and carnival games where Grace and Chloe were lucky enough to win a fish!! Bobby, Chloe, and I came home for the afternoon and worked out back on the yard! We ended the day at a cookout at my sisters where we watched amazing fireworks for a neighborhood!!! Can't even imagine how much they cost!!! Chloe loved the fireworks--i was happy for that!! All in all it was a very nice day!!
